Stemming from the 1939 award-winning film musical “The Wizard of Oz”, this exhibition, with its ambiguous title “Follow the Yellow Brick Road”, sets out on a comparable journey that examines society’s virtual and fantastical relationships with social media streams.

Extracted from Duffy’s own Instagram feed, the artworks do not manifest themselves, as one is presented with fragmented conversations inviting the gallery visitor to “Add a Comment”. There is certainly a repeated disconnect with time in the absence of authenticity.  On one hand the power to pry is granted, whilst on the other, the ability to participate is restricted.

Hence, where does the gallery reside, and who is the viewer?  In conclusion, how does one engage with this exhibition?
